Design your print
Put your photo on the real size, see exactly what gets cropped and folded, and know how sharp it will print — before you pay.
Why this exists
A photograph is almost never the shape of the print you ordered. A phone photo is 4:3; a 40 × 60 canvas is 2:3. Something has to be cut, and until now the only way to agree on what was a conversation. This page shows you the cut before it happens.
Nothing is uploaded until you press save. Everything you see here is drawn on your own phone — the photo does not leave it while you are moving it around. When you save, the studio receives the crop you chose and a flattened preview, so the person printing it sees exactly what you saw.
The fold line, and why it eats the edge
A canvas print is not a flat sheet. The printed cloth is pulled around a wooden bar and stapled at the back, so the outer strip of the picture disappears around the side — on our standard stretcher that is about two centimetres on each edge. The gold band on this page is that strip. Keep faces and anything you care about inside the solid line.
If you are not sure, zoom out: the photo can be made smaller inside the frame until everything important is clear of the band.
What the dpi number means — honestly
dpi is how many of your photo's pixels land in one inch of print. More is sharper. The number here is calculated for the size you selected, not for the file on its own, because the same photo is sharp at 10 × 15 and soft at 60 × 90.
We judge canvas more gently than paper on purpose: a canvas hangs on a wall and is seen from a metre away, while a print is held in the hand. Telling a canvas customer that 120 dpi is a disaster would be tidy and wrong.
What we do not promise
The preview is not a colour proof. Phone screens glow, paper does not, and the studio does not control the press it outsources printing to. Judge the crop and the sharpness here; judge the colour on a sample print if it matters.
We also do not print this file directly. It is the reference the studio works from; the original photograph is still the master copy, and that is why we ask you to send it as well.
Drag it on the photo to place it.

Choose as many photos as you like. We arrange them into pages; you move, swap and adjust afterwards.
Each page keeps its own photo, frame and name. The studio confirms the final page count and price before printing.
