Start from the date, not the gift
Every holiday has a last day to order, and it is earlier than people expect because a photo book takes longer than a print. The strip at the top of our home page shows the next one and counts it down.
Photo books — the one people keep
A photo book is the gift that survives the year. Twenty pages is enough for a whole occasion — a wedding, a first year, a parent's whole life in pictures. They come in four formats from 20 × 20 cm to 30 × 30 cm, with the sizes and prices on the price list.
Calendars — the gift that gets used every day
A wall calendar with twelve of your photographs on it is the most-used gift on this list, because it hangs in the room where the family already is. For Enkutatash it also does a second job: it carries the whole year that is starting.
Canvas and framed prints — for the wall, not the shelf
A canvas is what you give when the photograph is going to be looked at every day — a wedding portrait, grandparents, a family photograph that took three attempts to get everyone in one frame. Framed prints do the same job at smaller sizes, and cost less.
Prints, for the whole family
Sometimes the honest answer is a stack of ordinary prints for everyone, at the price of a coffee each. Bulk orders get a discount, and that is usually the difference between giving one person something big and everybody getting something.
